Blake Martin, an Associate Vice President of Corporate Services at Upland Real Estate Group, Inc., is a graduate of the Opus School of Business at the University of St. Thomas. His degree in Finance, along with the real estate license he had already earned as a freshman in college, made Blake particularly well equipped for a career in commercial real estate.

Blake started out his career prior to graduating college in a supporting role to the brokerage team at Upland. There he focused his efforts on designing and distributing all of the marketing materials, in addition to doing market research and creating in-depth financial analyses for clients. His clear ambition, along with a broad range of skills and background in financial management, made Blake an outstanding member of Upland’s brokerage team.

Nearly seven years later, today Blake focuses on Corporate Services where he represents clients such as Nightingale Properties on the project leasing of Gaviidae Commons along Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis to the dispositions of excess retail space for companies such as Best Buy, Advances Auto, and Staples. Over these years, Blake has been involved in over 100 transactions on both the owner and buyer/tenant side. He continues to grow his client base by providing excellent services and being a trustworthy source of information. This is also due in part to Blake’s dedication to furthering his education by frequently attending relevant seminars and joining courses provided by organizations such as CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). These tools have allowed Blake to stay ahead of the curve for every project he’s a part of.

Outside of work, Blake enjoys spending time with friends and family, particularly if it involves trying new restaurants, traveling, or spending time outdoors. He currently lives in Lake Elmo, MN with his wife Kelli, their daughter Kendall, and the newest addition to their family, their son Landon.
